Agribusiness & food

Agribusiness here turns on yield, cold chain, market access and finance, and on whether a facility can be operated once it is built. We work across the value chain and into the physical installation.

The operating context

What is different about agribusiness here

Yield is rarely the binding constraint. Cold chain, water reliability, offtake certainty and access to working capital usually decide whether a venture holds together, and they are decided before the first crop.

Protected cultivation changes the economics but adds an operating burden most teams have not carried before. A greenhouse that nobody can maintain is a liability, not an asset.

That is why our agribusiness work runs from value chain analysis through to installation and operator training, rather than stopping at a recommendation.

The work

What organizations here ask us for.

Questions

Asked in this sector.

Do you work with cooperatives as well as companies?
Yes. Cooperatives and producer associations have been part of our client base since 2014, and the organizational development work they need is often different from a private company’s.
Can you assess a site before we commit capital?
That is the usual starting point — a feasibility study covering market, technical and financial viability, sized so a board or lender can act on it.
Agribusiness

From a feasibility question to a facility in production.

Tell us where the venture stands — an idea, a site, an underperforming operation — and we will say what evidence and what installation work stand between it and production.
